Trip to the Kazoo Factory!

Jim and I set out this year on our summer road not knowing what to expect. I only really wanted to do one thing besides stay in a motel made out of cabooses.


Visit the Original Kazoo Factory!



Located in Eden, New York, it is a whole fully functioning, dedicated to making Kazoos, Kazoo factory! We saw all sorts of old Kazoos, including liquor bottle kazoos designed to celebrate the end of prohibition. I was shocked, but not surprised to learn that Kazoos were once made with lead paint and animal skins.



The best part of the museum was getting the chance to make our own Kazoos. Jim and I worked hard on the final touches of our All-American instruments.
