Kristen lives for producing incredible content for kids. After starting her career at Kids' CBC, Kristen moved to Sinking Ship Entertainment where she served as a creative producer for several shows featuring young kids such as Roll Play (Treehouse TV), Razzberry Jazzberry Jam (Kids' CBC), and Are we there yet? World Adventure for National Geographic Kids - traveling to different countries around the world with kids to make a stunning travel series. From there she became the lead producer on Giver with TVOKids, where she worked with a team to build numerous playgrounds across Ontario for the 22-minute family reality series. From there, Kristen's producing work has ranged from short documentaries such as Mo's Bows, a 5-minute doc about a boy named Mo who runs a successful bowtie business, to a 50 episode stop-motion interstitial series for TVOKids (What's Inside?), independent films for Sesame Street, design/building shows (Furze World Wonders for 9 Story/YouTube Red), to live TV (Sunny Side Up for Sprout/NBCUniversal).
Kristen's producing work has won a Daytime Emmy Award (Giver - 2018), has been nominated for Daytime Emmy Awards (Sunny Side Up - 2016, 2017), Canadian Screen Awards (Giver - 2013, 2015, 2016), The Prix Jeunesse Interstitial Prize (What’s Inside? - 2016), and has won Youth Media Alliance Awards (Giver - 2013, 2017), Kidscreen Awards (Sunny Side Up, 2016, 2017), and Cynopsis Kids !magination Awards (Sunny Side Up, 2016).
